One huge row erupts when Rami comes home drunk as Gemma is cooking them a romantic meal. As she serves him a three-course dinner she’s slaved over, she notices he’s behaving strangely. “What are you calling me Gemma Collins for?” she asks. “Ram, you’re drunk. I can tell by the way you’re talking. Drink some water.” She keeps on at him, saying: “You’ve had a drink haven’t you? Just be honest about it. Because you’re different.” Looking offended, Rami snaps back: “Don’t f***ing give me that alright. Sorry I’m swearing about it but this is who I am. I’ll drink some water. What is that going to help? What have I done wrong? I’m not f***ing drunk Gem. I’m telling you how it is.” Gemma calls him out on his behaviour, saying he’s been drinking all week. “Tonight was meant to be a lovely night,” she sighs. “Tonight was meant to be a romantic night. Why do you do it? It changes you into a different person. Irrational.” She then storms out of the house to stay at the hospital with her sick mum Joan. “I won’t stay here tonight, I’ll sleep up the hospital with my mum,” she shouts. “You’ve f***ing left me down. I’m fuming. You’re f***ing pissed.” It leaves her questioning their entire relationship and whether she should walk away. Looking back at the footage, she shakes her head. “When I watch that back I want to kick myself back for putting up with it. Because like f*** would I marry that person.” Former Towie star Gemma and mechanic Rami have been on and off for 15 years, having met back in 2011 in an Essex pub. The pair announced their first engagement on 2013 but broke it off weeks later. They got together around 2020, with Gemma confirming in December the following year that they were engaged again. Gemma and Rami had planned to tie the knot last year but they put it on hold following her mum’s ill health and death in July. Cameras had been following the couple since last year for her Sky documentary. The nine-part series gives an in-depth look behind the scenes of Gemma’s life with Rami and stepson Tristan – and doesn’t shy away from her romantic lows. It’s one of several bust ups across the series. In the first episode, Rami packs up and leaves their Essex home when it all gets too much for him. Gemma calls him at work from a house viewing in Hampstead and Rami tells her he’s gone. “You’ll have to live there on your own, we’re done,” he says. “You were so f***ing rude to me. I took all my stuff.” “It’s your drinking,” explains Gemma. “Let’s have a break,” replies Rami. “I’m going to stay in a hotel for a few days.” Gemma explains his drinking is the reason why marriage and babies have been on hold for so long. Rami tells the cameras he’s been hiding bottles of booze in the garden to hide it from Gemma and even seeks advice from her good pal DJ Fat Tony, who is a former alcoholic. “I need help,” concedes Rami. Gemma blames their struggles to have a baby on his boozing. “I think it’s you,” she tells him on a romantic trip to Cyprus. “You like a whisky, it affects semen.” The honest and exposing series follows the couple as they deal with their fertility struggles and promises an “unfiltered” look at Gemma’s “most challenging year to date”. Gemma Collins. Everything. All At Once. launches September 15 on Sky and NOW.
