This week has been all about the New York runway: Conner Ives was all about sexy prep, Coach & Eckhaus Latta made cases for glitter and — this was not on a runway, but is equally important– Love Island USA Season 8 winner Trinity Tatum made her fashion week debut in Aliyah-inspired Tommy Hilfiger. And let’s not forget the after-parties, which have become main events in and of themselves. (Case in point: Anne Hathaway casually giving us our fall nail inspo en route to the Bvlgari party on Thursday). With all of our favorite people gathered in NYC, and our history of throwing the best parties around, we knew we had to add a little Cosmo to everyone’s fashion week itineraries.Isabelle Von Arx for CosmopolitanDJ Tyde LeviIt happened last night at Sloane’s, an intimate cocktail bar tucked on the second floor of The Manner on Thompson Street. The dress code? After-dark romance, which resulted in everything from little black dresses with fringe to the perfect amount of lingerie. welcomed our guests into the space, where they eased into the night with cocktails courtesy of Proximo Spirits.Speaking of guests; our exclusive list felt like the rare, perfect mix of all of our friend groups. Editor-in-chief Willa Bennett hosted the evening alongside singer-songwriter Del Water Gap (more on that later), and they were joined by Cosmopolitan collaborators Ronnie Hart, Daniel Gaines, Chloe Grace Press, Jake Sammis, and Olivia Parker to name a few. We also spent the night dancing with Julia Mervis, Madison Hu, Benito Skinner. And course it wouldn't be a Cosmo party without the iconic Love Island USA core four, Trinity Tatum, Aniya Harvey, Melanie Moreno, & Kayda Bosse, alongside Bryce Alakai and Zach Georgiou.Isabelle Von Arx for CosmopolitanDel Water Gap and Willa BennettIsabelle Von Arx for CosmopolitanJulia Mervis and Willa BennettJust before the clock struck midnight, Willa delivered a toast — not to mark the party’s end, but to kick-off an incredible performance by Del Water Gap, with whom she wore a matching YSL suit (how do I get in on that next time?). He performed acoustic versions of Doll House, High Tops, and a highlight of the evening, hit song Ode to a Conversation Stuck in Your Throat. As such a special surprise for our friends, Tyde Levi closed out the event as Saturday night quickly became Sunday morning and, after their final cocktails, guests headed out into another day of New York Fashion Week. Willa Bennett joined Tyde behind our DJ booth as Tyde’s sister Sage, the perfect Cosmopolitan girl, joined our Cosmo editors at the front of the dance floor.
