Courtesy: AFPNew Delhi,Oct 11, 2026 22:57 ISTBrief Scores: India (223-all out in 20 overs) beat West Indies (209/7 in 20 overs) by 14 runs in Indore.Highlights | ScorecardAfter failing to defend 250 in Ranchi, India bounced back in style to take a 2-1 lead in the T20I series with a 14-run victory over the West Indies in the fourth T20I at the Holkar Stadium in Indore on Sunday. India made two changes to their playing XI, bringing in Prince Yadav and Nitish Kumar Reddy in place of Shivam Dube and Kuldeep Yadav, and both selections paid dividends.Nitish dismissed Quentin Sampson just as the West Indies batter looked to accelerate, while Prince bowled with precision in the death overs, giving very little away to the Caribbean batters. Arshdeep Singh also made a significant contribution, picking up three wickets as India delivered a much-improved bowling performance compared to the Ranchi encounter. Defending a target of 223, India restricted the West Indies to 203 to seal victory. The Holkar Stadium pitch offered excellent conditions for batting, but unlike in Ranchi, the Indian bowlers did not allow the opposition to dictate terms. India’s disciplined effort also ended a run of five consecutive matches in the white-ball campaign in which the chasing team had emerged victorious, making the Indore win an important turnaround in the series.More to follow... - Ends
