IDF locates remains of fallen soldier Yehuda Katz, who went missing in 1982 - report

Katz's family has been notified.Israeli media, however, have reported that findings related to Katz's disappearance were located, though did not elaborate on what was found. The Jerusalem Post has reached out to the IDF for clarification. Katz was declared missing following the Battle of Sultan Yacoub on June 11, 1982, during the First Lebanon War. Two other soldiers, Zachary Baumel and Zvi Feldman, were declared missing alongside Katz.Baumel's remains were recovered by Israel in 2019, and Feldman's remains were recovered in 2025.This is a developing story.Follow us on Google
