Shopping for a new season is my weakness, but fall shopping? Now that’s a different story. Maybe I’m biased (ahem, I do live in New York City), but fall is hands down the chicest season of the four. The wool, the cashmere, the coats—I’m already putting outfits together in my head. And don’t even get me started on the excuse to stock up on cozy sweaters, luxe knits, layering pieces, and great denim. Right on cue, Gap and Victoria Beckham are back with their much-anticipated Fall/Winter 2026 collaboration, and let’s just say, it’s right up my alley (and I have a feeling you’ll love it, too).Their first collaboration this spring sold out in a flash, so expectations are high for round two. The 37-piece collection puts a high-fashion spin on everyday staples, with elevated details across everything from bomber jackets and parkas to zip-up sweaters, trouser shorts, cargo pants, and more. I love that the designs are understated but still have personality. They have that cool, slightly dressed-up look I always associate with London style—which feels pretty fitting!GAPGAPGap invited me to preview and try on the collection ahead of its launch, so I got to handpick a few pieces to put to the test. I went with the Denim Shirt Jacket, Merino Turtleneck Sweaters, Oversized Parka Jacket, Oversized Satin Bomber Jacket, and Wool-Cashmere Zip Sweater. Safe to say, my cold-weather wardrobe is off to a good start! Everything fit so well, too.For reference, I’m an XS and usually shop petite sizing as a 4’11” gal, but even the oversized styles felt roomy without swallowing me whole and left plenty of space for layering. The tops and sweaters felt luxe and buttery-soft, while the bomber and parka were warm and well-insulated without feeling too bulky. The only bummer? The new jeans weren’t available in petite sizing, so I couldn’t try those on. Think high necklines (funnel necks are having a moment!) and cinched waists that give each piece a little extra shape. The color palette is also so good, with all the fall neutrals we know and love mixed with pops of color like yellow and burgundy that fit right in.Honestly, I’d buy everything I picked out—which probably isn’t the best news for my bank account! But you can really feel the quality in the materials, and I love that the collection delivers a luxury feel at a range of price points, from $28 to $368. You can’t shop it just yet, but you can on October 23 when it officially launches.
