Focused on barrier-protecting products at bargain prices, it’s racked up hit after hit and has quickly become one of my most-recommended brands. Earlier this year, I was left impressed with its Bio‑Collagen Mask, but its latest launch piqued my interest. In September 2026, Byoma unveiled its Longevit-8 Peptide Serum, promising a lengthy list of benefits, including reducing the appearance of wrinkles, hydrating and smoothing texture. Byoma Longevit-8 Peptide Serum Byoma’s new serum suits all skin types, and is the brand’s first dedicated anti-ageing product Buy Now for £21.99 At £21.99, it’s the brand’s most expensive product yet, and it was created to build skin resilience for long-term health rather than overload your complexion with too many exfoliating acids. Given how popular the term ‘longevity’ has become across health, wellness and now beauty, I wanted to find out if the new Byoma launch was all talk or actually worth a spot on your bathroom shelf and in your skincare routine. Here’s everything you need to know. A bargain beauty buy for those looking for a peptide in their skincare routine. (Picture: Metro/Cult Beauty) What’s in Byoma’s Longevit-8 Peptide Serum? Supercharged to improve skin renewal and cellular function, it claims to boost your natural collagen protection, hydration, radiance, and elasticity, while also reducing redness, improve the appearance of wrinkles and refine skin texture in as little as two weeks. My skin looked instantly hydrated. (Picture: Metro/Louise Whitbread) Is it worth adding to your skincare routine? I have to admit, I was sceptical when I first saw this serum, which claimed a long list of benefits. My first impression was the texture; it’s a gel that’s surprisingly fast-absorbing, with no pilling, when applied to a clean, dry face beneath my moisturiser. I wouldn’t say I woke up looking a decade younger after using it, but there is a subtle plumping effect and smoothness to areas of texture where I get hormonal breakouts, especially around my chin. As someone with hormonal acne and rosacea, it didn’t irritate either, and the packaging is undeniably pretty, with a metallic blue finish. It’s not a miracle in a bottle, but like many of Byoma’s products, it’s an easy, affordable way to add peptides into your routine while still prioritising barrier support.
