A GENEROUS content creator has revealed she gives her parents a £15,000 monthly allowance – as well as luxury gifts, cars and business investments. She said: “They never came to me asking for money. It just naturally started because I knew they were having a hard time paying their health insurance bill. Sign up for the Fabulous newsletter Thank you! “I thought, ‘Okay, I’m going to start OnlyFans and cover their insurance.’ “It began with me saying, ‘Don’t worry about it, guys. I’ve got it.’ “Then it eventually became, ‘Dad, I don’t want you to have to go into the office anymore, so I’m going to give you this amount every month.’” Skylar has also given her father almost £150,000 ($200,000) to launch a solar business, spent approximately £80,000 ($110,000) on Rolexes for her parents and paid off their cars. She estimates she has also bought her mum around five designer purses this year alone. Despite receiving a monthly allowance which is quadruple that of the average worker, Skylar said her parents have never expected her to fund their lifestyle or pressured her to buy them anything. “Even now, my parents don’t expect anything from me,” she said. I would have taken care of my parents no matter what career I went into, as long as I was financially able to.” One of Skylar’s luxury gifts has included approximately £58,000 ($80,000) worth of Rolexes for her father. After her mum became upset that her husband owned two Rolexes while she didn’t have one, Skylar bought her a watch of her own worth approximately £22,000 ($30,000). She added: “I’ve probably bought my mum five purses this year alone, and I’m currently planning on buying her a car. I’ve also helped them pay off all their previous cars.” However, Skylar’s biggest single contribution was the £150,000 she gave her father to start a solar business. Although she can afford to support him completely, Skylar doesn’t want her dad to stop working altogether. Due to cancer, he regularly undergoes treatment that leaves him unable to work for several days, but Skylar believes having a business gives him a sense of purpose when he feels well enough. “My dad is an amazing salesperson. He could literally sell ice to an Eskimo,” she said. “I try to make sure he still works because I feel like if he didn’t have something to wake up for, he would just crumble away. “That’s why I helped him open his solar business and gave him the money. I want my parents to have the option to get out of bed or not, depending on how they feel, rather than being forced to work when they’re sick.” Skylar’s mum suffers from lupus, which can leave her feeling healthy one week and unable to get out of bed the next. Meanwhile, her dad’s regular chemotherapy treatments can leave him unwell for four or five days before he has to undergo another round less than two weeks later. Before their health deteriorated, Skylar’s parents were successful entrepreneurs who ran multiple businesses. “My parents were really successful people,” Skylar, from Arizona, US, said. “They always lived a comfortable lifestyle, but when their health got really bad, they couldn’t work anymore and their businesses just crumbled. “There was a four-year period while I was in high school when we struggled really hard. If I had never experienced that struggle, I probably would have never started an OnlyFans.” Skylar said helping care for her parents as a teenager forced her to mature quickly and made her determined to create financial security for her family. You work 24/7. If something is needed and you’re at dinner, you walk out and work. “I watched my parents for years never take days off. They worked holidays and birthdays because whatever the business needed, they did it. They trained me for sure.” Skylar said being able to give her parents financial security is now one of the most meaningful parts of her success. She said: “I don’t technically need to help my parents, but I want to. “They worked so hard to give me a comfortable life, and I’ve always taken care of them.
