Humanitarian Atom Fest concludes in Thiruvananthapuram

The ‘Humanitarian Atom Fest,’ organised by the Honorary Consulate of Russia in Thiruvananthapuram, in association with the International Russophile Movement, concluded on Sunday. The fest featured a series of programmes highlighting India-Russia cooperation in the peaceful use of nuclear energy and was held to mark the 55th anniversary of the Indo-Soviet Treaty of Peace, Friendship and Cooperation.Former diplomat T.P. Sreenivasan inaugurated the closing ceremony. M.G. Rajamanickam, Chairman and Managing Director of the Kerala State Electricity Board; Ratheesh Nair, Honorary Consul of Russia in Thiruvananthapuram, Dmitry Savvin, Head of the Russian specialists at the Kudankulam Nuclear Power Plant, and Anastasia Morozova, Head of the Department for Organisational and Technical Support of the Kudankulam NPP Construction Projects (Atomstroyexport under Rosatom), also addressed the gathering.
