Huge indoor Christmas world returns to UK this winter with new festive village, elves playground and fairground rides

YES, we know it’s still T-shirt weather in much of England for at least five hours of the day in between downpours, but it’s time to start thinking about booking your Christmas days out. One for the calendars is an immersive festive experience that transports families through a snowy North Pole, that’s returning for the second year in a row – and it has a new village and playground. It’s specifically designed for children between the ages of three and eight, who will venture through the frosty landscape in a 50-minute experience. Sign up for the Travel newsletter Thank you! The journey through the North Pole will begin in the Enchanted Forest towards the Elves’ Workshops. Little ones can say hello to the elves who will be busy making presents and working at the toy sorting station. Then onto visit Mrs Claus in her cosy cottage where she’ll have plenty of biscuits to go around and tell a story or two. Then it’s into Santa’s Study to do some letter writing and meet him in person. Along the way there will be live performers, theatrical sets, storytelling animation screens and plenty of festive lights. New for this year is the Elves’ Playground which will be fully kitted out with Christmas lights and trees. Most read in Travel It will also have fairground rides, food and drink and even a Christmas market for trinkets and gifts. For anyone who visited last year at its Borough Yards venue, the experience has moved to Immerse LDN at Excel London.
