The game will begin at 7 p.m. CT on FOX. Fans can watch this game for free by using the free trials offered by DIRECTV and FuboTV. Why this game mattersPenn State has a 3-1 record, but the team is coming off a loss against Wisconsin in its Big Ten opener. If the Nittany Lions want to compete for a Big Ten title this year, then they cannot afford to lose another conference game tonight. Northwestern is also 0-1 in conference play this year, as the team lost a close game to Indiana last week. Since their last game was highly competitive, Northwestern could easily upset Penn State tonight. Important players to watch in this gamePenn State’s transfer quarterback Rocco Becht will be an important player to watch tonight. He has thrown for nine touchdowns and nearly 900 yards this season, while only throwing one interception. Northwestern will need a great performance from its quarterback Aidan Chiles tonight. He has scored 10 touchdowns this year and racked up more than 800 total yards.
