How to earn Wyndham Rewards points

Wyndham Rewards offers a four-tier award chart, with award nights costing 5,000, 15,000, 30,000 or 45,000 points per night. This award chart means you can get a lot of value from Wyndham Rewards points, especially on peak travel dates. For example, I got 3.48 cents per point earlier this year when I redeemed Wyndham points for a stay in Adelaide, Australia, during a major Australian Football League event. So, while TPG's October 2026 valuations have Wyndham Rewards at 0.55 cents per point, it's certainly possible to get significantly more value when paid rates are high.Even if you don't stay with Wyndham properties frequently, it's worth knowing how to earn Wyndham points for when you discover an award stay you want to book. Many Wyndham Rewards earning options vary by country; this guide focuses on options available to U.S.-based members.Earn Wyndham points on hotel staysYou'll earn 10 points per dollar spent or 1,000 points — whichever is more — on qualifying stays at most Wyndham Hotels & Resorts and participating vacation club resorts.
