More importantly, he's still waiting for a new Ape Escape game to release. The Frozen Trail update for Arc Raiders has been released, and it's got quite a lot to sink your teeth into. Along with a new map, ARC enemies, loot, and quality-of-life changes, there are several new quests you will want to complete. One of the earliest is Exploring Pendola Pass, which asks you to complete a series of tasks throughout the map. While some of these steps can be easy, others are a little tricky due to where you need to go. If you're struggling at all, here is how to complete every part of this quest. Destroy 20 ARC Enemies For this part of the quest, you will just need to kill 20 ARC enemies. It doesn't matter where on the map they are killed or what type of ARC is destroyed. Every single ARC only counts for one, so because of that, you'll want to focus on just destroying the weaker enemies such as Wasps, Hornets, Ticks, Poppers, and Fireballs. Some good places to farm these enemies are Railyard, Oldtown, and CieloSereno Observatory. These have a high concentration of lower-tier ARC, making it easy to kill a ton of these foes in a single run. That being said, it will usually take around 2–3 runs to kill this many ARC if you're solo or not coming into the session with a lot of ammo and meds. Keep in mind, all of these quest steps can be done in any order, so you can get your ARC kills while completing the rest of the objectives. Search The Control Room At Cielo Sereno Observatory For this step, make your way to the northeastern corner of the map to find the Cielo Sereno Observatory on top of the mountain. Reaching here can be quite a journey if you don't spawn near it, so be ready to avoid a lot of ARC patrols on your way. Additionally, this point of interest is a high-tier loot area, so expect to run into a ton of other players. When you arrive at the Cielo Sereno Observatory, head up the stairs to the second floor and make your way to the southern portion of this facility. On the east side, you will find the control room that overlooks the cliffs below. Approach the battery box sitting on the control console and press X (Xbox) / Square (PlayStation) to inspect the tech. Doing so will give you a small jolt of electricity, which completes this part of the quest. Patch Into The Railyard Antenna Perhaps the most annoying part of this quest, to complete this step, you'll need to bring a Wire to the antenna on the tallest tower in Railyard. Unfortunately, there's no ladder or existing zipline to reach this area, so you'll need to go into the raid with a Grappling Hook, Snaphook, or Deployable Zipline. Without any of these, it's basically impossible to reach the top of the tower. I prefer the Grappling Hook as it's cheap and easy to use without the possibility of misplacing it like the Deployable Zipline. When you arrive at Railyard, make your way to the southeastern corner and climb onto the roof. There you will see a large tower with several antennas sticking out the top (shown above). Climb up onto the top of this tower and then approach the antenna that's on the west side. Interacting with it will cost one Wire and repair this communication device. Make sure to take your time getting back down, as it's very easy to fall to your death from this tower. Search 3 Containers Inside Commissary Supermarket Finally, the last part of this quest is extremely simple. All you need to do is go to the Commissary Supermarket point of interest in the center of Pendola Pass. When you arrive, head inside the store and search through any three containers. It doesn't matter at all if you take something from the containers. Just opening and looking around them will count. Similar to the Cielo Sereno Observatory, this is a high-tier loot zone, so expect to run into other Raiders when completing this step. I recommend going into the breachable room on the east side, as it has a ton of lockers you can search through to quickly complete this step. Just be mindful of the Shredder that patrols this building! It can be quite dangerous if you're backed into a corner.
