Some of the hardest bosses in Phantom Blade Zero have a large area, multiple phases, and cutscenes in between them. However, some boss fights aren't nearly as glorious, seem trivial, and yet, they can be just as annoying if you don't know what you're doing. The Xie Qiudong, The Divine Healer is one such Boss. What seems like a super-easy fight is made more difficult than it has any right to be, mainly because of how many enemies there are, and the constant healing this boss does. If you're struggling with this fight, you won't be for long, because you've come to the right place. Xie Qiudong Fight, Explained If you made it to this fight, you may be wondering what is even going on, so allow us to explain: When you enter the area, you'll see a bunch of enemies, mostly regular ones, and a few enemies that are being held (drained) by the red strings you've been seeing everywhere. Above the arena is Xie Qiudoing, who is healing everyone. If you try to fight any of the enemies that are attacking you, you'll quickly realize that they are being fully healed by the Divine Healer, no matter how many times you try. Obviously, what you need to do is disable the healing, but that's easier said than done, especially when you have a bunch of ranged and a tough melee enemy at your tail who are getting healed constantly. First, you need to defeat the six enemies that are being held by the red strings around the arena. Try to ignore the attacking enemies, and just focus on the ones that are getting drained. When you enter the arena, there will be three enemies in front of you, one on the left side on the roof, and two enemies behind you (around the stairwell you used to enter the area). Defeat these enemies in any order you wish, and just dodge or avoid the attacking enemies. After you defeat all the "connected" enemies, Xie Qiudong will drop to the ground. Now, you can fight him, but don't do so yet. Instead, lead all the remaining enemies on the other side of the stairwell and away from The Divine Healer. When you are a good deal away, start fighting them. You'll notice that they are still being healed but at the same time, you'll notice that the Divine Healer is using his own health to heal them. Keep fighting the enemies until Xie Qiudong has no health left to give and finish them off. Finally, go for the kill and defeat The Divine Healer with a finisher, and you'll be done. It's not a hard fight, but it's a bit unconventional.
