How To Beat Charlotte In Hellraiser: Revival

More importantly, he's still waiting for a new Ape Escape game to release. There are a lot of horrific monsters who want to make you past tense in Clive Barker's Hellraiser: Revival. While you will spend most of your time fighting off the insane cultists or running from Cenobites, there are some terrifying creations you'll need to deal with. One of the most prominent is Charlotte, who chases you for much of the game. Eventually, you'll need to face her head-on in a final boss fight. Here is how to defeat this abomination, what she's weak to, and what weapons to use in this fight. Before you begin the Charlotte boss fight, I strongly advise you to purchase the Dragon Breath Rounds upgrade from the vendor for your shotgun. Charlotte is weak to fire, and this weapon allows your weapon to set her ablaze with every blast. It's exceptionally strong against her, and, given the abundance of shotgun ammo around the arena, you can use it quite liberally during this boss fight. The Revolver is also a great weapon for this fight and can be bought for 300 coins. It deals high single-target damage making it great for fighting bosses. When you arrive at the boss arena, take some time to search the area for any ammo, crafting materials, or traps you can set. There are a lot of resources here, so ensuring you don't need to spend the fight looking for bullets will really help in the long run. Additionally, try to set the bear traps up ahead of initiating the boss fight. You won't really have time during the actual battle for them, so set them in places you can easily kite her into. Once you're ready, look at the photo and note on the altar. This will cause a wave of around 4–5 zombies to appear and attack you. Try to save ammo here by using the throwable objects via the puzzle box to kill these foes. You can also use the bear traps here if you want, as getting Charlotte to run into them is a little finicky. Do your best to save all the explosive barrels, gas containers, and torches for the boss fight. Again, fire is her weakness, so having as many ways to ignite her as possible really trivializes this fight. After the first wave of monsters is defeated, a large wave will appear, but you're going to have some help. Police cars will crash onto the scene, run over the zombies, and begin shooting the remaining ones. Do not kill them, as they will help you clean up the rest of the monsters. In fact, you can basically just run around and let them do all the work if you want. When all the monsters are dead, Charlotte will make her appearance and kill the cops. This starts the boss fight, which largely consists of us keeping as much distance between one another as possible. Charlotte is quite deadly. Her close-range slash attacks do a lot of damage, and she is capable of pinning you to the ground. Because of this, we never want to let her close the distance. To do this, you'll want to use the two cop cars and kite her around them, much like you did with Bruno in his boss fight. During this, focus on setting her on fire whenever possible. This can be done by blowing up any red barrels she is near, throwing fire with the puzzle box, or using something like Dragon Rounds. Shotguns are quite good against her, since her hitbox is huge, making it very easy to land all the pellets. You'll have a good chance to stagger her if she remains on fire, which will open her up to a few seconds of free damage. Once she takes enough damage, Charlotte will retreat up onto a cliff and howl. This will summon a few of those explosive zombies, which will immediately rush at you. Ignore the boss for now and focus on killing these foes before they reach you, as their detonations do a comical amount of damage and can quickly kill you if you're not careful. When all three are dead, Charlotte will begin throwing them at you from her position. Wait until you see her pick one up and hold it over her head. Right before she throws the zombie at you, shoot its stomach to make it rain acid down on the boss, knocking her from the cliff, and forcing her to fight you again. The fight will now resume like normal, and Charlotte won't have any new attacks you have to worry about. Focus on always ensuring she is on fire. This will make your life infinitely easier, since her high mobility is countered by the constant burn damage she suffers. It's possible that Charlotte will attempt to summon more explosive zombies again; however, I managed to kill her consistently before she could perform this attack a second time. Upon taking enough damage, Charlotte will glow blue, and you can perform an execution on her. This will instantly kill her, ending the boss fight and rewarding you with a pretty pricy valuable you can sell.
