How Katie Price’s ex Lee Andrews and his ‘fake lawyer’ dad left a ruined man sleeping rough after $200k con

THERE is seemingly no end to Lee Andrews’ excruciatingly embarrassing lies. If the con-man, soon-to-be divorced from Katie Price, was Pinocchio, by now his nose would have grown so large it would need its own wing inside Dubai’s Al-Awir prison to accommodate it. So why is Andrews yet to pay back businessman Nicholas Fiaschetti, 40, who tells The Sun he was left penniless and forced to live in his car after investing $200,000 into his business back in 2024 only to get nothing in return? “I met Lee at the Four Seasons Hotel on the Palm Jumeirah,” Nicholas tells me. “I wish I never had. I believe there are other people in on this. “He had so many people connected to him telling me I could trust him – and as an investor and businessman I was interested. “Lee worked hard to earn my trust. He tapped into my belief system in God, he made me think we both had the same way of thinking, the same morals and values. “Our conversations went on for a long time before any talk of investing came up. I honestly trusted him.” As with Andrews’ previous scams – which saw him showing live video “proof” of his wealth – Nicholas was led to believe he could trust Andrews. “He was offering double my money back plus 20 percent of the shares,” Nicholas explains. Looking back it makes me think of a psychopath – someone who has learned to mimic. “Someone who can pretend to be happy and cheerful but really they don’t feel that at all.” He added: “He sent me a Lloyd’s bank account as well with over $100million in it. “I saw pictures of him with a sheik holding a cheque for $150m. “I thought, ‘This guy’s not trying to rob me of two hundred thousand. This guy’s loaded.’” After transferring the money, Nicholas claims Andrews deployed a fresh weapon on his deception in the form of his father Peter. Peter was locked up with Andrews, 43, earlier this summer over allegations of fraud but has since been released. Recalling his involvement with Peter, Nicholas says: “His dad told me he was an international lawyer. Then Peter got involved. “He came on claiming he was an international lawyer and was backing up Lee’s version of events saying that the funds were being held up. “It was utter bulls**t.” Nicholas says he doesn’t blame Peter for what he did however and says he believes he has been caught up in something far bigger than he may have realised. “I think Peter is terrified of Lee,” Nicholas says. “He is a coward of a man, no doubt. But I think he is a father who wants to think the best of his son. “If it was me and my son asked me to send any voice note like that I would say, ‘F**k off.’ “In my eyes, Peter is absolutely involved in these scams. “Maybe he believes what Lee is telling him? But it’s all a huge lie.” Hearing Andrews’ latest pleas from inside Al-Awir has infuriated Nicholas, as well as a string of women who invested in his businesses only to get nothing in return. This morning on Good Morning Britain, Andrews sent a voice note from Al-Awir prison where he has access to his phone behind bars. As Katie, 48, sat on the sofa next to Susanna Reid, 55, and Ed Balls, 59, he could be heard shamelessly wheeling out the same old lies. “I will be out and you can keep checking the wallet and you’ll see that there is the fund, that the funds are there, and it’s just north of $50m,” Andrews said. “I’ll even send your host a thousand pounds or ten thousand, what they want, to show the movement that it’s mine. “I’m happy to back that up on any lie detector when I do come out and come to the UK, which will be very soon.” Happily I can confirm it won’t be soon, as Andrews’ travel ban doesn’t have a chance in hell of being lifted. And should he ever return to the UK, he will be hauled in for questioning by police after a complaint was made against him to Hertfordshire Police earlier this year. It’s also refreshing for me to see that after seven months of telling the stories of individuals who have been conned by Andrews that Katie has finally woken up from her cosmetic surgery-fuelled haze and dumped him for good – as she told my esteemed boss Clemmie Moodie earlier this month. For Nicholas, Andrews’ boasts are further torture to hear. “I am devastated,” Nicholas says from his home in the US. “I just want my f***ing money back but I know that will never happen “When it happened I reported him to the FBI but to them, $200,000 is small fry when they are dealing with multi-million pound crypto scams. “To me it was my life savings. “When I realised that I had been scammed I went into shock. Nicholas has set up a GoFundMe to try and rebuild his life “I’d lost everything. I ended up sleeping in my car for months with my French bulldog. It was hell. “I had a hard life, I grew up with no father and my mother was a broken woman. I didn’t have a bedroom growing up. “I grew up in poverty, on welfare and having to use food stamps. “When I inherited this $200,000 it meant the world to me. “And I lost it all to this scam. “He would make so many promises and I believed them. “Now I have lost everything and I am trying to rebuild my life.” Nicholas is aware he is now among a number of people who Andrews took money from, including American businesswoman Crystal Janke. “Do not trust this man,” Nicholas explains as he issues a warning. “It’s not just women. It’s hard-working men like me that Lee will target. “When he gets out of prison I don’t doubt this will carry on. “And he will use his network of people, his dad, to carry on taking money. “There is no $50m in an account. Or I’d have my $200,000 back by now. “It is all a lie.” Nicholas is now attempting to rebuild his life and has started a GoFundMe to get back on his feet – which you can donate here.
