The Houthis have renewed their warning to airlines, airport staff and travellers against using Riyadh’s King Khalid International Airport. The group’s spokesman, Yahya Saree, described the airport as “unsafe” and said it remained a “military target”. Late on Saturday, the airport announced that Terminal 1 would handle domestic flights, while Terminal 2 would serve international flights operated by national carriers from Sunday. Airport operations were suspended on October 10 following a Houthi attack that killed 13 people and injured more than 300 others.
