CRICKET fans were gobsmacked after a dog stormed onto the pitch during Leicestershire’s County Championship clash in Somerset. While everyone was left at a loss of what to do, Leicestershire all-rounder Ben Mike then stepped up and petted the pup. Mike looked as if he might have taken a brief look at the collar to reunite the pup with its owner. And eventually the cricket star led the hyper husky towards the boundary before it sprinted off, seemingly heading home. A steward was able to collect the furry friend and play resumed. Later reports confirmed the husky had been safely reunited with its owner after its brief county cricket cameo. Eager fans rushed online to comment on the pooch.
