Hayden Panettiere's parents Skip Panettiere and Lesley Vogel had both asked for the earrings the late actress had been wearing when she had died, per a new report.Panettiere died aged 36 on August 16 at a residence in Greenville, South Carolina, with her on-off boyfriend Brian Hickerson and his brother, Zach, both at the scene when Panettiere was pronounced dead.The actress accidentally died from the 'toxic effects' of multiple drugs – including fentanyl.Authorities said that multiple stud earrings had been taken off Hayden's person following her passing, according to TMZ, after reviewing the report from the Greenville County Coroner's Office.A senior deputy had spoken with both Skip Panettiere and Lesley Vogel about the issue, determining that both had wanted the jewelry.Officials informed both parties that they would retain the earrings, which were being stored in a sealed bag, until a decision could be reached.'Both parties were informed that until they could reach an agreement regarding the decedent's personal effects that they would not be released,' the coroner's report read.Vogel hit back at the claims, branding them an 'absolute fabrication' and 'misinformation' in a statement to The Daily Mail.She added 'we are all seeking justice for Hayden' and 'note that everything pertaining to Hayden‘s estate will be handled through the executor.'The Daily Mail has reached out to representatives for Hayden Panettiere for further comment on the story. 'It's just super-frustrating all that we've been through and all the rumors that get started and then people believe them, and then they attack as a result of the rumors.'Zach said he will 'eventually' clarify any falsehoods linked to the tragic case.
