Hatzalah to dispatch drone rescue team to aid search for missing Israeli tourist on Mount Olympus

It will operate with local Greek forces in the area, focusing on sites that are difficult to reach on foot.The drone unit, Hatzalah said, is equipped with thermal imaging, illumination, and loudspeakers. The team accompanying the drones will also carry satellite communications equipment, radios, emergency and survival gear, and medical supplies.Hatzalah has also launched a "My Mitzvah" fundraising campaign to raise money for the ongoing search-and-rescue operation.According to the fundraiser page, Yogev's brother Shlomi is currently in Greece, assisting in the search.Ami Yogev, 46, who went missing on September 22, 2026 while hiking in Greece.
