Belkin is now offering two new semi solid state batteries for your iPhone. There’s one 10,000mAh offering with a USB-C port for charging. The second is a 5,000mAh MagSafe offering, which offers 15W Qi2 charging. Both come in much lighter than you’d expect, and both offer premium aluminum builds that are cold to the touch. 10K When you pick up this solid state battery bank, you’ll notice it feels so much lighter than you’d traditionally expect compared to other batteries of its capacity. For example, this battery comes in at 220g, compared to older 10K batteries that weigh between 240 and 300g. As I mentioned earlier, it also has a nice aluminum build. This thing feels premium, and because of the shape of it, it’s very pocketable. There isn’t much else to write about a battery bank, but it offers up to 60W of charging, and comes with a smart display that’ll show your battery percentage. It’s available for $89.95 on Amazon. 5K MagSafe If you want a thin, MagSafe battery – this is the one. I’m tempted to say that this one takes the cake for my favorite MagSafe battery for iPhone, just because it’s very light and incredibly thin. Granted, this battery bank doesn’t have any bells and whistles like a kickstand or smart display – but it gets the job done really well. It’s also worth noting that if you’re buying an iPhone Duo, this will protrude from the bottom of the phone slightly. That’s going to be an issue with pretty much any MagSafe accessory made for iPhone Duo. It wouldn’t surprise me that if by CES next year, we see some iPhone Duo-designed MagSafe batteries. You can pick up one of these on Amazon for $69.99.
