GLAM racegoers braved the weather in Windsor to dazzle at Saturday’s special meeting – and it was capped off by a DJ set from Mark Wright. And all of that building up to Wright on the decks for what is described as being “the perfect blend of sport, style, and celebration. “From thrilling turf action to live music and riverside vibes, this is horse racing on Saturday like you’ve never seen it before.” A late-starting race card didn’t get underway until 4.30pm. Then there were races slated every half an hour until 7.30pm, resulting in a stacked day. Much of the country was soaked with hours of rain in the days leading up to the races. And that continued on Saturday – but didn’t dampen the spirits.
