Commenting on an Instagram post made by a Gladiators fan page, she said: “Thank you for mentioning and acknowledging all my skills that were never aired. “And I am so sorry to all the fans and families who were not told about my absence this season. I will be there for the tour and I can’t wait to see you all.” Ella’s comment seemingly confirmed she wasn’t filming for season four like the rest of the cast, despite nothing about a departure shared prior. The star – who tied the knot earlier this summer – also seemingly made a dig at the BBC for ‘not airing’ the extent of her ‘skills’ on the show. Discussing the comment online, one fan said on Reddit: “Comet acknowledging her absence from S4 filming”. Other users then discussed the future of the show in the thread, with one admitting they were ‘worried’ about the number of cast members being booted from the series. Earlier this month, The Sun exclusively revealed that Bionic, real name Matty Campbell, Cyclone, real name Lystus Ebosele and Athena – whose moniker is Karenjeet Kaur Bains – will be absent from the upcoming edition when it returns in 2027 on BBC One. The news came after Giant was unceremoniously axed from the programme in April as he alleged it was because the BBC didn’t approve of his relationship with his girlfriend Taylor Ryan, who is an OnlyFans model. He has since split from Taylor in the aftermath of the cull. In addition to a replacement for Giant, which was revealed last week, four new stars will also be joining the show. Comment now
