The slight decline continues a week-long holding pattern where prices aren’t moving up or down at a steady rate.Last week, the average price was just under $4.37 per gallon, according to AAA. Throughout the last seven days, prices have moved by one or two cents each day. That’s not to say motorists are getting a break at the pump as the average price is still 16 cents higher than a month ago and $1.27 more than one year ago. Diesel users are still being hit the hardest as today’s average price of $6.27 per gallon is 22 cents higher than a month ago and $2.61 more per gallon than a year ago.
