Frontier Airlines Passengers Brawl While Getting Off The Plane—One Takes Off His Hoodie And Keeps Swinging

A Frontier Airlines passenger pulls off his hoodie in the middle of a fight, then keeps throwing punches over the seats. The uploader says it started with a shove as people stood to get off the plane—and nearby travelers wound up pulling the men apart. I thought the guy was fighting himself at first. The other passenger is largely hidden in the seats as he gets a beat down. The video was posted by @bigplayray__ with the caption, “We got action #frontierairlines.” He says the plane had stopped, everybody was getting up, and the man who wound up getting beaten had pushed the other passenger first. The video is flagged as potential sensitive content, but you can watch it here. The men grapple over the seats. One pulls his hoodie over his head, revealing a white t-shirt, and continues swinging. Several people reach in to separate them. I’ve covered a remarkably similar fight on Frontier’s Philadelphia – Miami route. In July 2021, a passenger reportedly attacked another man for taking too long to retrieve his bags as people were getting off. Passengers and crew separated them. Frontier said some of those involved disregarded instructions to remain onboard, and the man who’d been attacked ultimately declined to press charges. Then there was the Spirit passenger who climbed over the man in the aisle seat because he wanted to get up after landing. He made it into the aisle, where he stood awkwardly beside the person he’d just climbed over. Getting up a few seconds sooner doesn’t create anywhere to go. And a Frontier arrival in Minneapolis produced multiple fights extending into the terminal. Airport officials reported broken chairs and thrown stanchions. When I covered that incident, no arrests had been made; police had focused on separating people and getting them out of the airport. Social media reactions include people appalled at fighting on a plane, people scoring the fight, and people convinced both men will spend the rest of their lives driving. Not true, this is Frontier!
