He is based near London, UK. Frontier Airlines is undergoing relatively big changes. Cirium Diio data shows an average of 644 daily movements between November 2026 and early April 2027, which is as far as the carrier's schedule and booking window currently extends. Activity has risen by 7% compared to November 2025 to early April 2026. This is primarily due to the cessation of the now-defunct Spirit Airlines, with Frontier backfilling capacity at some airports and on some routes. However, Frontier's overall expansion is despite ending all flights to 21 airports. Frontier Has Ended Flights To These 21 Airports Schedule analysis for January to October 2026 indicates that the increasingly evolving Frontier no longer serves the following places. No flights are scheduled from November 2026 onward. Recent examinations of destinations removed from other North American carriers included Air Canada, American Airlines, Breeze Airways, Delta Air Lines, United Airlines, and WestJet. End Month (January-October 2026 Only) Market Served By Frontier Since When?* January 2026 Seattle Paine Field 2025 April 2026 Aruba 2021 April 2026 Charleston 2018 April 2026 Harrisburg 2012 April 2026 Los Cabos 2003 April 2026 Nassau 2021 April 2026 Providenciales 2021 April 2026 Puerto Vallarta 2003 April 2026 Tucson 1994 April 2026 Tulsa 2005 July 2026 Sarasota 2018 July 2026 Spokane 2004 August 2026 Corpus Christi 2025 August 2026 Knoxville 2011 August 2026 St. Maarten 2021 September 2026 Cedar Rapids 2012 September 2026 Little Rock 2004 October 2026 Burbank 2021 October 2026 Madison 2010 October 2026 New York JFK 2024 October 2026 Sioux Falls 2011 * For some places, the airline pulled out and later returned. Only the first year is stated Eight markets (38% of the total) only saw Frontier from 2021, while two (Seattle Paine Field and Corpus Christi) first did so in 2025. The ULCC flew twice-weekly from Denver to the Texas city between October 2025 and August 2026, but only filled 47.7% of seats. No wonder flights did not last long. Goodbye, New York JFK! Frontier's experiment at John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) did not last long. The ultra-low-cost carrier only flew there between June 2024 and October 2026. The airport's high fees/charges and congestion were all factors in its withdrawal, with Frontier continuing to serve LaGuardia Airport (LGA) and Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR) for the Greater Big Apple. Frontier had up to 10 daily departures from JFK, all of which were to domestic markets. The airline flew to Atlanta, Chicago O'Hare, Dallas/Fort Worth, Denver, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Miami, New Orleans (very briefly), Orlando, San Juan, and Tampa. From November 2027 onward, only five of them (Atlanta, Dallas/Fort Worth, Orlando, Miami, and San Juan) are served by the airline from LGA or EWR or both. Loading map… Drag to explore US Department of Transportation (DOT) data for June 2024 through July 2026 (the most recently available month) shows that Frontier transported 1.7 million passengers to/from JFK and filled 83.4% of seats. As usual, that overall load factor is just one performance measure and says very little without more information. In 2025, for example, the DOT shows that the carrier's average fare at JFK was $90 one-way, with that figure excluding taxes and any purchases (such as baggage). Interestingly, the figure marginally more than for EWR and LGA, but counterbalanced by the high fees and charges. Seattle Paine Field Flights Also Did Not Last Long Located around 23 miles (37 km) from downtown Seattle, Seattle Paine Field International Airport (PAE) is renowned for being home to the Boeing Everett Factory. Frontier flew to PAE for barely half a year, with service from June 2025 until early January 2026. In this period, DOT data shows that 36,365 round-trip passengers were carried on three routes: Denver, Las Vegas, and Phoenix. They had an overall load factor of just 55.6%, with Phoenix's result being particularly low: 45.1%.
