Every year, Children's Book Week is a celebration of children's literature capped off by a colourful and often chaotic parade, where kids dress up as their favourite book characters.The source of much parental angst, the Book Week parade nevertheless makes a valuable statement about the importance of literacy and fostering a love of books in young readers.As families around the country fire up their glue guns and frantically dig through the dress-up box in a last ditch effort to throw together a literary costume (don't worry, a Disney princess or professional football player will do in a pinch), we offer you this quiz in honour of Book Week.Australia has produced some classic kids books over the years from the likes of Mem Fox, Anh Do and Pamela Allen — all of whom appear in the quiz below.
