Fresh Jodie mystery triggered in Coronation Street as Shona gets a sinister shock

Jodie Ramsey (Olivia Frances-Brown) has disappeared after being shot in Coronation Street. Earlier this week, the crazed character orchestrated a plan that ended with Shona Platt (Julia Goulding) leaving the family home to spend the night in a hotel. With Shona out of the way, Jodie got to work on trying to convince David Platt (Jack P Shepherd) that he’s in a relationship with the wrong sister. As David spoke about the time Jodie kissed him, he admitted that his feelings for Shona were changing, and he wasn’t sure what that meant for him. Unbeknownst to Jodie, those words were all part of David’s plan. He had secretly called Shona, and tricked Jodie into believing that he wanted to be with her just so Shona could hear what Jodie was really thinking. Jodie survived her injuries, and made it clear to David and Shona that she was now in complete control of what happens next. Jodie confirmed in today’s episode of the ITV soap that she stuck to Shona and David’s cover story and told DS Lisa Connor-Swain (Vicky Myers) that she saw a burglar prior to being shot. Shona and David were in the clear where the police were concerned, but not Jodie. David hoped that the conversation marked an end to Jodie’s time under the Platt roof, but she pointed out she doesn’t have anywhere to go. While David didn’t care where Jodie went, Shona quietly did. Jodie’s ability to take advantage of her sister’s guilt meant Shona returned home and reflected on how it’s her fault that Jodie got shot. Shona headed back to the hospital to speak to Jodie, but then learnt from a nurse that she had discharged herself. But where has she gone?
