He had also started planning his days around traffic, the heat, chai and finding good food. Another major change, he noted, was realising that his old definition of a normal life no longer applied.However, there was one more thing he had not anticipated: actually falling in love with the city. “I’m 23, moved 7,000 km from Paris to Mumbai, started a new job, met an entirely new group of people and basically had to figure out a new life from scratch,” he said.Three weeks into his move, Nico said he was still getting lost, learning Hindi and discovering new places every week.
