Four policemen suspended in Raichur

Raichur ​Superintendent of Police Arunangshu Giri has placed four police personnel under suspension in the aftermath of the gruesome rape and murder of a Dalit woman in Hokrani village in the district.​Sources confirmed that the officers were placed under suspension due to dereliction of duty.During the suspension period, they will face a departmental enquiry. They have asked to abide by standard service rules.​Meanwhile, the police have arrested all the four accused in the case.
