Foundation: Navigation Day Officially Releases August 19

While many fans were skeptical of how the show would adapt Isaac Asimov's seminal work, it has done an excellent job at introducing the Foundation universe to an entire new generation of sci-fi fans. With three seasons under its belt, Foundation's next season will surely be packed with exciting moments and will potentially resolve some of the biggest underlying mysteries raised during the show so far. While we still don't have a specific release date for Season 4 just yet, the Foundation franchise is about to return with a brand-new release on August 19 with the launch of Navigation Day (via X). "On the night the trade routes restart, countless lights illuminate the port as traders gather to celebrate the continuation of civilization." Foundation: Galactic Frontier is launching Navigation Day this week with Beacon Fest on August 19, a limited-time event centered around "reopening the galaxy’s trade routes" and activating the Array Calibration: The event will roll out in two waves, with servers 1001–1016 available from August 19 through August 25, while servers 1017–1231 will get access from August 26 through September 1. Navigation Day features several activities that reward players with event-specific currencies and prizes. The Sign-In event rewards you simply for logging in, while Navigation Blessings tasks players with completing daily and target quests to earn Navigation Compasses. During Array Calibration, players can gather and donate Energy Crystals to activate navigation beacons and collectively unlock global rewards. Further, throughout the event, Starlight Marks can be spent on draws through the Navigation Deck, while Navigation Coins earned during the event can be exchanged for commemorative items at the Light Array Market. The Navigation Plan adds further milestones through daily quests, and Energy Commissions provide another source of Energy Crystals. Limited rewards include an exclusive ship skin, name frame, and chat frame. Foundation: Galactic Frontier is a free-to-play sci-fi strategy game set in the officially licensed Foundation universe, combining galactic exploration, fleet and ground combat, character recruitment, resource management, trade, and multiplayer alliances.
