One Piece fans are in for a treat Image: Toei Animation Sign in to your Polygon.com account For weeks, there have been rumors that One Piece would be the centerpiece of the next Fortnite season. There was no certainty, so fans were on the edge of their seats until the last second. It wasn't until this Sunday that Epic Games put them out of their misery and unveiled the One Piece crossover season. More teasers are starting to surface, giving players a first look at the One Piece skins coming to Fortnite. Fortnite Treasure Hunters begins next Sunday, Nov. 1. As the day approaches, more details are unearthed, giving players a better look at what's coming in this year's annual mini-season. Last week, players were starting to lose hope that One Piece would be featured in the mini-season; posters that appeared on the Madrid subway indicated that the Battle Pass could feature generic anime skins rather than collaborative cosmetics. Thankfully, Epic Games confirmed that One Piece would be part of the Treasure Hunters season with a teaser of the Going Merry ship on the Battle Royale island. One Piece's Luffy and Ace join Fortnite next season We now know that the Straw Hat Pirates' ship will soon replace the Battle Bus, but fans were left wondering if any of the crew members would be joining the roster of skins available in Fortnite. They don't have to wonder any longer. One Piece-style wanted posters scattered in London's Soho district reveal four familiar faces coming next season: Luffy and Ace from One Piece and Jonesy and Hope, Fortnite originals that have been reskinned in an anime style. Last chapter's mini-season was all about The Simpsons, including the Battle Pass. It featured four skins: three Simpsons characters (Homer, Ned, and Marge) and one Simpsonified Fortnite character — two, if you count the bonus Simpsons-style Peely. It's likely that the characters shown in the posters will be the four skins included in this mini-season's Battle Pass. With only a few days left in Chapter 7 Season 4, Epic Games is sure to post a better look at these skins on its social media pages soon.
