Fort Worth woman says she's grateful to be alive after being struck by car

A Fort Worth woman said she feels fortunate to be alive after a driver struck her in a parking lot over the weekend, leaving her with two broken legs, a collapsed lung and a broken rib. Fort Worth police identified the driver as 22-year-old Yoriel Cabrera. He was arrested on charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and intoxication assault with a vehicle and has since been released from the Tarrant County Jail after posting bond.
