Both matches of the women's football internationals between Panama and New Zealand has been cancelled, following the powerful earthquake which struck the central American nation.The quake measured a magnitude 7.7 with aftershocks measuring up to magnitude 5.8.The news comes after the first match was called off - due to played in Panama City at Estadio Rommel Fernández Gutiérrez this morning (Sunday NZT).New Zealand Football have confirmed that all of the Ferns players and staff are safe and accounted for.In a statement, New Zealand Football said players and staff will immediately look to leave Panama and return home.Reuters reported on Saturday that the earthquake had damaged homes, cut power and halted flights.It also reported that the US Geological Survey said the earthquake struck at a depth of 12.6 km (7.8 miles) and that some casualties were possible.
