Flying Flea S6 is our electric scrambler icon of EICMA 2026

Royal Enfield has showcased the production-spec Flying Flea S6 at EICMA 2026, bringing scrambler styling, off-road hardware and advanced electronics to its expanding electric motorcycle portfolio.Royal Enfield has brought a different flavour to its electric motorcycle portfolio with the production-spec Flying Flea S6, showcased at EICMA 2026. The second model under the Flying Flea sub-brand, the S6 takes the electric platform in a more adventurous direction, adopting scrambler styling and hardware that promise greater versatility than the C6.Unlike the C6's urban-focused character, the S6 is designed to look more at home on broken roads and unpaved trails. Its styling centres around a slim silhouette, exposed frame, circular headlamp and a flat handlebar. A long, narrow enduro-style seat further reinforces its scrambler identity, while the finned magnesium battery casing adds a distinctive mechanical element to the design. The motorcycle gets long-travel upside-down front forks and a rear monoshock. It runs on 19-inch front and 18-inch rear wire-spoke aluminium wheels, shod with dual-purpose tyres. Another significant mechanical distinction from the C6 is the use of a conventional chain drive instead of a belt-driven setup. Royal Enfield will offer the S6 in Dart Yellow, Lightning Grey and a carbon finish.Power comes from a high-torque electric motor, for reference, the Flying Flea C6 comes with a 3.91kWh battery and has 21bhp and 60Nm of torque, although Royal Enfield is yet to reveal the battery capacity, power output and claimed riding range. The S6 features a twist-and-go throttle and a bidirectional crawl function, allowing it to move slowly in either direction. This should prove useful when manoeuvring the motorcycle in tight spaces or negotiating tricky sections off the road. The electronics package is extensive for an electric scrambler. It gets six riding modes, including an off-road setting and a customisable option. Riders can also alter regenerative braking and traction control intervention. Safety features include lean-angle-sensitive ABS, with the option to switch off ABS on both wheels for off-road use.Technology is another key part of the package. The S6 features a 3.5-inch circular TFT touchscreen running Royal Enfield's Fleaware.OS. The system supports navigation, connected vehicle functions and smartphone and smartwatch integration. Digital locking and unlocking, live location sharing and security alerts are also part of its connected features. Wireless phone charging and full-LED lighting round off the equipment list. The Royal Enfield Flying Flea S6 is scheduled to enter production and go on sale in summer 2027. Pricing and market-specific availability details are expected to be announced closer to its launch.Subscribe to Auto Today Magazine - Ends
