Florida State fans chant ‘We Want Jimbo’ ahead of Week 1 game vs. SMU

As Florida State prepared to take on SMU on Monday, ACC Huddle was on campus. That meant Jimbo Fisher was back, and the fans made their thoughts clear as “We Want Jimbo” chants rang out in Tallahassee. Fans sitting behind the ACC Network stage also had signs calling for Fisher to return to Florida State as rumors and questions continue to swirl around Mike Norvell. One sign, captured by ESPN’s David Hale, said “Bring Back Jimbo.” At the top of Monday’s show, ACC Huddle host Taylor Tannenbaum shouted out Fisher’s accomplishments at FSU, including the 2013 national championship. He also spoke about his appreciation for his time with the Seminoles. “So many relationships,” Fisher said. “I had a couple old players that ran by, waved at me. Just the fun of the game, when that chant starts going and that music starts cranking, it brings back why you coached and all the memories of the people here and love it here so much.
