The crystals are there, sure, but a lot of the same motifs and party archetypes are present, reminding folks of the past, present, and future of the Final Fantasy series. It's so on the nose that it even includes various "Visions," spiritual representations of classic party members from the series. For instance, you could team your melee tank with Tidus for extra elemental oomph, or attach a heroic Black Mage Vision to your healer for extra magical coverage. It's completely up to you, and even though some Vision combinations aren't ideal, you're still free to experiment to your heart's content. But some of the game is very cut-and-dried, especially when it comes to exploration. In Chapter 5, you need to find Mysidia, and without much help, at that. Here's how to easily find Mysidia and continue on with your quest. How To Easily Find Mysidia In Resonance Once you've made it to Chapter 5 - Scars of Time in Final Fantasy Resonance, a story mission will task you with finding Mysidia, a mythical land that's completely hidden. To make it appear in the sea, you'll need to head there, then "scan" the area. For the most part, when scanning, your crew will tell you about anomalies and the like, but won't give you explicit instructions on where to scan for Mysidia. Instead, you'll need to fly around the world and give it your best shot: or scan exactly where you need to. Head south on the map, west of the large volcano continent. Fly over the landmass shaped like an L (you'll head there later in the story). After you're there, head south directly into the ocean, then slightly east. It's OK to spam the scan button, as it'll give you small hints about where to go next. Sometimes you'll get a message to check a little south, or east, and so on. Follow those instructions and keep scanning until the cutscene plays and you discover Mysidia. A full visual breakdown is available in the gallery above. Be Prepared From Chapter 5 Onward Once you're in Mysidia, I highly recommend that you take your time and smell the roses. Mysidia has several sidequests to complete and a brand-new shop to try out, and at this critical point in the game, it's important to start getting every edge you can. That includes finishing sidequests for big rewards, locating collectibles to bring back to the starting continent, and upgrading gear. Around Chapter 5 (specifically, roughly once you hit this point in the story), the game starts to get tougher, and every edge counts, especially if you're looking to punish elemental weaknesses and keep that stagger mechanic going as often as possible. If enemies are staggered, they can't attack and are open to a quick party-wide combo of damage with no reprisal, even if the enemy has a counter ability. If you've been breezing through Final Fantasy Resonance up to this point, you'll need to start hunkering down and specializing your builds for certain enemies as you enter the endgame.
