Mandatory Credit: Brett Rojo-Imagn Images Field Level Media college basketball writers submitted ballots for their Top 25 men's basketball teams entering the 2026-27 season. The poll results are in: Here's a closer look at No. 14 Gonzaga. 14. GONZAGA 2025-26 record: 31-4 Outlook for 2026-27: The Bulldogs have Braden Huff back after he was lost to a knee injury midway through last season and are clearly the class of the new Pac-12. What isn't easily as discernible is whether Gonzaga is up to its usual standard of 30-win seasons and deep NCAA Tournament runs. What we like: Huff will be the go-to guy after having big moments before his injury, and guard Davis Fogle is ready for a bigger role. Landing transfer Massamba Diop (Arizona State) was huge with Graham Ike's tenure at Gonzaga over. Trouble ahead: European point guards caused coach Mark Few some headaches as Mario Saint-Supery left the program to play professionally in Spain and Jack Kayil surprised the Zags by remaining in the draft after Gonzaga expected he would withdraw. After he was selected in the second round, he decided to play in Germany. Gonzaga's early schedule isn't as ferocious as most seasons with UCLA and Michigan State the only ranked opponents. Top newcomer: Transfer point guard Javon Bennett was a big get after the initial drama at that position. He played the past three seasons at Dayton, averaging 15.8 points last season, and is the type of experienced player Few values. --Field Level Media
