There are levels to Nintendo Directs. You have the first-party showcase, during which its biggest in-house games are revealed and shown off. There are also Partner Directs where third-party studios putting their games on Nintendo consoles have the opportunity to reveal they have games coming to Switch and Switch 2 too. Today's presentation is neither of those things. Indie World is, as the name implies, an offshoot of Nintendo's Directs where the focus is on independently made games. Nintendo has become a platform on which indie games can thrive, particularly during the Switch era, and today's Indie World will reveal which indie games are coming soon to its consoles.
