The Wii Sports legacy continues on Switch 2 with Nintendo Switch Sports Resort. It's technically a sequel to that game's sequel, as it's the first time since Wii Sports Resort that the series has brought us back to Wuhu Island, adding leisure sports that let you fly, jet-ski, and skateboard around the island so you can see more of it than ever before. The backdrop isn't the only way in which Switch Sports Resort pays homage to its predecessor. Archery is back too, and just like it did in Wii Sports Resort, each range has a secret target. If you're having trouble figuring out where they all are, below you'll find details on each range's secret target, including what each target is and where you need to look for it. Plaza Plaza A - Apple You can see the secret target on every range from the start. You just need to know what to look for on each one. The hidden item on the first range in Plaza A is an apple. Aim slightly to the right of the target, and you will be able to see it sitting on a rock through the railing on the bridge. No wind to worry about here, so just aim above it to try and hit the apple to get maximum points. You'll know if your shot is close to the target if the camera follows your arrow. If the camera stays behind you, the arrow is going to miss by some distance. Plaza B - Pinata On the second Plaza range, the secret target is a piñata that you'll have to find and hit. The secret target is farther off to the left this time, sitting just off the shore on a rock poking out of the water. There shouldn't be any wind to consider again, but you do have the added obstacle of more water between you and the target for this one. Plaza C - Burger On the third and final range in Plaza, you need to be on the lookout for a burger. This one is up higher than the previous two. Way off to the left again, you'll see the burger sitting on a building with a pointed roof, just to the left of the leaves of the middle palm tree. A little harder to hit than the prior two targets. Since it's so high, you'll have to aim quite a bit higher to get it. Beach Beach A - Purin After hitting the Plaza, it's time to take your bow and arrow to the beach. On the Beach A range, you will find the game's first purin. It's a Japanese custard pudding, the name of which I definitely already knew without having to Google it. Beach A's Purin can be found on the right-hand side of your field of view, perched on a rock surrounded by a railing at its base, with a bush just to the right. Beach B - Apple There's a little bit of a difficulty spike on Beach B as this is the first secret target that is particularly well hidden, but definitely not the last. You only need to aim ever so slightly off to the right of the target to put this range's apple in your field of view, but even then you still might not be able to see it. Look very closely at the rocks between those two wind turbines, and you'll see the top of the apple peeking out. Beach C - Crown Melon Back up high for the final secret target on the Beach courses. Like the apple, Beach C's crown melon will be in your field of view right away. It's the first of many that are particularly well camouflaged, though. Aim to the left and up a little bit, and you should see the melon perched on a cliff edge, the grey backdrop helping it to stay hidden. You will need to find and hit six of the 12 hidden targets to unlock the hidden target archery achievement, so if you have them all up until this point, well done! Plains Plains A - Burger As the Plains title given to this set of courses implies, these ranges are situated on big, open, flat areas of Wuhu Island. You'd think that might make the hidden targets easier to spot, but no. On Plains A, we have our second burger of the game. You'll find a dome off to the left of the range, and the burger is sitting on the deck outside. You'll be able to see it through the railings so you know where to aim. Plains B - Crown Melon There's another crown melon to find on the Plains B archery range, and once again, that melon is perched on a cliff. You'll need to aim quite far to the left and, once again, look up high to find this range's melon. It's a well-hidden one too, not just because the grey cliff and green grass help it blend in, but because you will only be able to see the top of it from where you fire your arrow. Plains C - Burger The hidden target on the Plains C range might be the most well-hidden of the 12 targets waiting to be found. It's also the only target of the 12 where you'll need to aim downhill. Look very closely at the tree on the beach in the image above, and you'll just about see a burger hidden behind the leaves on its left-hand side. Hard to find, but easier to hit than other hidden targets since you're firing your arrow downhill. Mountains Mountains A - Purin The final three ranges are situated up in the mountains of Wuhu Island. That makes the wind more of a factor than anywhere else on the island, thus making its hidden targets harder to hit. The first is another purin. Pivot to the right of the target, and you will see the pudding sitting on an elevated rock to the left of a clump of trees. Much harder to hit than it looks because of that elevated wind speed. Mountains B - Pinata The Mountains B range is situated at the entrance to a cave, but that wind is still a major factor. One of the most difficult ranges in the game, with a hard-to-find target to match. It's the return of the piñata, and despite its bright colors, it is notoriously difficult to spot. You'll see it slightly to the right of the target, masked by a shadow at the bottom of a ramp and behind a little rock. It's also a lot further away than it seems, so aim high if you want to hit it. Mountains C - Toaster The final archery range in Switch Sports Resort is the coolest, as it's inside a volcano. Wind is still a problem thanks to the updraft of the lava, and the glowing orange walls make this hidden target the hardest of the 12 to spot. That's because the item itself is a very similar color. It's a toaster, and you'll see it if you look very closely up and to the left. It's not too hard to hit once you find it, but remember that updraft will elevate your arrows more than you think.
