The Blazers host East Carolina for homecoming at 6:30 p.m. that same day, with television coverage on ESPN. UAB plans a full day of activities for homecoming, including a parade at noon, and tailgating at the stadium. Blazer Village, UAB’s pregame fan fest, opens at 2:30 p.m. outside Protective Stadium, featuring music, games, inflatables and yard activities.Prior to the East Carolina game, UAB (3-2, 1-0 American Conference) travels to Memphis (4-1, 1-0) for the annual “Battle for the Bones” at 6 p.m. Saturday.
