Enes Kanter Freedom Not Banned from Wintrust Arena ... But WNBA Can Make It Happen Published August 24, 2026 12:29 PM PDT Former NBA player and WNBA hopeful Enes Kanter Freedom may have had an intense run-in with authorities at Wintrust Arena Sunday night ... however, he's welcome back as long as the WNBA approves, TMZ has learned. A Wintrust Area spokesperson tells TMZ ... "Based on the incident last night, decisions regarding reprimanding or banning would be the purview of the WNBA." Enes Kanter Freedom was removed from the arena after getting into an argument with Chicago Sky guard Natasha Cloud 😳- he recently declared for the 2026 WNBA Draft after formerly playing in the NBA. pic.twitter.com/TMrrSlwsSA @scubaryan_ As we previously reported, during the third quarter of Sunday's matchup between Caitlin Clark's Indiana Fever and Natasha's Chicago Sky, Natasha knocked down a shot just before the Fever took a timeout. Natasha then began trash talking Enes, who was sitting behind the baseline. Enes wore a black shirt that read "woman noun adult human female" as he was escorted out of Wintrust Arena. It'll be interesting to see if the WNBA bans him from the arena or takes any further action. Enes already appears to be on their naughty list ... the WNBA slammed him for a "bad-faith effort" to try and play in the WNBA as a transgender woman. As you know, Enes has declared for the WNBA draft and has begun his so-called "transformation" to play in the league. We've reached out to the WNBA for comment. So far, no word back.
