Emmerdale confirms major and devastating Sadie and Cain twist that changes everything

The episode in question will air on ITV1 on at 8pm. Sadie King (Patsy Kensit) left Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley) in shock when she revealed that she was pregnant with his child when he fled the eponymous village two decades ago with her millions. The two characters, as longtime viewers of the ITV soap will recall, had a brief dalliance during Sadie’s first stint in the show – a relationship which ultimately led to both making dramatic exits. Earlier this month, Sadie returned to the Dales for the first time in almost 20 years and, when not trying to get her hands on ex Jimmy’s (Nick Miles) secret stash of cash, she’s been catching up with old faces. In today’s offering of the popular serial, it was ex Cain that she re-connected with, heading up to Wishing Well cottage to have it out with him over how things were left the last time they crossed paths. Cain proved supportive in the scenes which followed, with he and Sadie sharing a drink together, much to the chagrin of Moira (Natalie J Robb), who remains convinced that Sadie is back to cause trouble – so much so that she followed her husband’s ex to the Woolpack to give her a piece of her mind, warning her to stay away from her family.
