However, its high capacity means that Emirates, the A380's largest user with more than 100 units in its fleet, can also put the superjumbo to work on shorter services with high levels of demand. This is exactly what it plans to do next month, when the A380 will start flying daily from Dubai (DXB) to Delhi (DEL). It is important to note that the A380 will only account for one of Emirates' four daily flights in each direction on this route. However, given that the Dubai-based UAE flag carrier has only flown the double-decker quadjet to Indira Gandhi International Airport once, back in 2010, the superjumbo's arrival will still be a welcome sight. Now, more than 16 years down the line, October 25, 2026, will see the carrier launch daily services on the route with the A380. Indeed, the superjumbo will only operate one of the four daily round trips, with the Boeing 777-300ER, as seen in the photo above, accounting for the other three. The 777-operated flights leave at 4:20 AM, 9:55 AM, and 3:10 PM, while those wishing to sample the A380 will have to wait for the 9:30 PM departure. Of course, Emirates is far from the only airline serving this route. All in all, data from Cirium shows that, in November 2026 alone, a grand total of 382 flights are set to leave Dubai for Delhi. Much like Emirates, Air India also has four flights a day: three use the Boeing 787-8 and one uses the Airbus A320neo. Emirates In India India is a very important short-haul international market for Emirates, both when it comes to point-to-point and transit traffic, and its presence in the huge Asian country extends far beyond its four daily flights to Delhi. Indeed, this November, it will operate 720 India-bound rotations from its main hub at Dubai International, with this impressive total equating to some 14 flights every day of the month on average.
