Musk replied on X to a clip of Bezos telling Fox News during a live interview on Wednesday that he's "personally invested $28 billion" in Blue Origin since founding it in 2000."I'm glad Jeff Bezos cares so much about space," Musk added.Bezos, who stepped down as Amazon CEO in 2021 but remains the e-commerce giant's executive chair, said Blue Origin had just raised more than $10 billion in its first external funding round. The serial entrepreneur, worth $285 billion as of Wednesday's close per the Bloomberg Billionaires Index, told Fox News' Brett Baier that it was the right time to cease self-funding the company."I see the financial future of Blue with some clarity now, and I didn't really want to take outside investors until I was sure it would be a good investment for them," he said.Bezos added that he expects Blue Origin to "be a public company at some point," but its IPO will be "several years from now."@RedWavePress Bravo!
