Monday’s (September 14) visit to the Square saw devastation aplenty after Kat (Jessie Wallace) found daughter Zoe dead in her bed. Zoe had sustained a head injury on the previous day and the pain took hold while she lay on her own, crying out for her mum. Heartbreaking scenes followed as, after making the discovery for himself, Alfie Moon (Shane Richie) shared the tragic news of Zoe’s passing with the rest of the family. Kat was utterly broken as the police came to take Zoe’s body away, breaking down in the Square as Alfie consoled her.
