Dunedin councillor Benedict Ong trespassed from the University of Otago

Controversial Dunedin councillor Benedict Ong has been trespassed from the University of Otago grounds and premises following student complaints about inappropriate and unwanted behaviour.The Otago University Students' Association confirmed plans to trespass Ong from its premises last week and urged the university to ban him from the campus.The university invited him to respond to a proposed trespass notice by Monday, saying students had reported his behaviour made them feel uncomfortable and unsafe.Benedict Ong claimed they were false and malicious attacks.He was served the trespass notice by the university on Friday.
