DMK Women’s Wing to stage protest across Tamil Nadu over law and order on October 31

Siva Saravanan The DMK Women’s Wing will stage a a Statewide demonstration on October 31, 2026 to condemn the deteriorating law and order in Tamil Nadu, the party president, M.K. Stalin, has said.Mr. Stalin pointed to the recent criminal incidents in Tamil Nadu. “In Salem, a murder took place in broad daylight in public space. In Madurai, a missing boy was found dead. The whereabouts of the missing girl from Gingee remain a mystery. Crimes in Tamil Nadu are escalating to a degree that surpasses video games and horror films. Under TVK rule, criminals are carrying out offences without fear, as though they had been given a free run. Tamil Nadu is in the grim state of counting murders every single day. Why is the Chief Minister remaining silent, as if he had nothing to do with law and order? Why is he, who is adept at talking loudly about law and order, not opening his mouth,” he asked.To condemn this situation, the DMK Women’s Wing would stage the demonstration, he said.
