The singer, who is not an Indian citizen and is currently in the country for his Aura India Tour 2026, was initially reluctant to complete the form but eventually complied following the intervention of officials from the Foreigners Regional Registration Office (FRRO).According to sources, Diljit was staying at a hotel in Agra when the staff noticed that he had not filled out the C-Form, a mandatory requirement for foreign nationals staying at hotels and other accommodation establishments in India. The hotel subsequently informed the FRRO, following which a team from the Lucknow FRRO intervened and ensured that the singer completed the formalities.Sources further indicated that Diljit had not previously filled out a C-Form during his hotel stays in India. However, officials made it clear that compliance was necessary, as failure to do so could have invited legal action against the singer. The hotel, too, could have faced legal proceedings for failing to ensure that the required information was submitted.WHAT IS C-FORM? The C-Form is a digital document used to register details of foreign nationals staying at hotels, guesthouses, homestays and other accommodation establishments in India.Under FRRO regulations, establishments accommodating foreign citizens are required to submit the form through the designated online portal within 24 hours of their arrival. The requirement allows authorities to maintain records of foreign nationals visiting and staying in the country.Hotels and other establishments are responsible for ensuring that the prescribed information is collected and submitted within the stipulated timeframe.DILJIT’S TAJ MAHAL VISITDiljit's Agra visit came ahead of his scheduled performance in New Delhi on Friday, October 30, at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium. The singer had taken some time out from his busy tour schedule to visit the iconic Taj Mahal, sharing glimpses of his trip with fans on social media.Posting a video from the monument, Diljit captioned it, "WAH TAJ BOLIYE #wondersoftheworld AURA INDIA TOUR 2026."In the video, he is seen exploring the historic monument, posing at various locations and greeting fans. He also says, "Arrey huzoor Wah Taj boliye! It's all about love, guys.
