Derek Chisora reveals the ‘key’ for Filip Hrgovic to beat Moses Itauma and warns of a ‘long night’ if he ignores advice

FILIP HRGOVIC is being viewed by many as the sacrificial lamb in Moses Itauma’s rise to heavyweight glory. But former two-time world title challenger Derek Chisora insists the Croatian can cause a monumental upset against the undefeated Brit this weekend. But not Chisora, who reckons the Croat can stop Itauma’s seemingly inevitable rise to stardom if he doubles and even triples up his jav. During SunSport‘s latest episode of No Glove Lost, he said: “That’s the key. “Because if you let Moses come forward, it’s a long night for you.” ‘War’ continued: “Don’t put a single jab. [Use the] double jab and three jabs. “Because the first jab is to get you there, the second jab is to touch him and the third jab is to show him that you’re there in his presence.” Hrgovic came agonisingly close to winning the interim IBF strap in June 2024 in a Saudi showdown with Daniel Dubois. Just a few weeks later, Dubois was elevated to full champion as Oleksandr Usyk vacated his title.
