Democrats are harassing ICE agents and civilians

Kerman is a heavily Hispanic city in California’s heavily Hispanic Central Valley region, which has seen several ICE raids in recent weeks. One man in the area, Eric Bridges, was followed by a vehicle on his way to a park and blocked in by it when he parked. But Bridges wasn’t being followed by ICE. He was being followed by the Democratic mayor of Kerman, Maria Pacheco. Pacheco has made a hobby of confronting and recording ICE agents, coincidentally while running for a seat on the Fresno County Board of Supervisors. Pacheco, for some reason, decided that Bridges was an ICE agent (he’s not) and stalked him, snapping pictures of his vehicle and face and harassing him while telling him, “Don’t worry about who I am, I’m someone important,” and “I’m looking for ICE, and you look like ICE.”Newark Mayor Ras Baraka (D) speaks to protesters outside of Delaney Hall, an immigration detention center, in Newark, New Jersey, on May 7, 2025. (Seth Wenig/AP) This is a predictable outcome for a Democratic Party that urges activists to go out and harass ICE agents wherever they find them. The same thing happened in Minneapolis during ICE raids, when ordinary civilians were harassed by the permanent protester class the city nurtured during the Black Lives Matter riots. When they weren’t harassing private citizens, some of those activists, spurred on by Democratic rhetoric, were harassing actual ICE and Border Patrol agents, escalating to violent behavior that resulted in two separate, justified shootings.THEY CALLED ICE ‘KIDNAPPERS.’ THE PAPER PROVES OTHERWISEEven members of Congress have gotten in on the action. Several House Democrats, along with the Democratic mayor of Newark, tried to push their way into an ICE facility in New Jersey last year. Mayor Ras Baraka got himself arrested for trespassing after allegedly ignoring multiple warnings to leave — like Pacheco, Baraka was coincidentally running for higher office at the time. Video of the incident showed Rep. LaMonica McIver (D-NJ) physically shoving ICE agents, and she now faces federal charges.Democratic politicians have grown too comfortable urging people to harass immigration enforcement agents, to the point that some choose to lead by example. To them, it doesn’t matter if innocent people like Bridges get caught up in the harassment or if they themselves commit criminal acts in the process. All that matters is opposing the deportation of any and all illegal immigrants who have made their way into the country, even those with criminal records whom ICE is targeting.
